Sensex, Nifty may open higher as US Fed leaves interest rates unchanged

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty are likely to open in green on Friday tracking SGX Nifty coupled with the US Federal Reserve decision to leave interest rates unchanged.At 8.11 am, SGX Nifty was trading 35 points, or 0.44 per cent, up at 7,975.50.Hang Seng and Shanghai were trading 0.40 per cent and 0.16 per cent up at 21,942 and 3091, respectively while Nikkei was down 1.30 per cent at 18,192.

    The Stock Market Ends to logged a third straight week of losses On Wednesday slipping more than 200 points in morning trade.

    The selloff in global market pushed the Sensex and Nifty below its trend line all-time closing high at Sensex ends 171 points higher at 25,823, Nifty ends 33.95 up at 7,846.

    Lupin and Vedanta were the top gainers on the BSE benchmark index, ending 3 per cent up.

  3. The market has opened weak on September F&O expiry day. The Sensex is down 71.40 points or 0.3 percent at 25751.59 and the Nifty slips 10.45 points or 0.1 percent at 7835.50. About 267 shares have advanced, 160 shares declined, and 29 shares are unchanged. Lupin, NTPC, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto and HUL are top gainers while ICICI Bank, HDFC, Axis Bank and Tata Steel are major losers in the Sensex.

    The Intraday trade session ends smartly on wednesday inspiring on the back of RBI repo rate cut by 50 basis points.

    The major indices was able to beaching a way from their morning highs finish in the green.

    The S&P BSE Sensex closed the day with a gain of 376 points, or 1.46 per cent, at 26,154.83 while the broader market barometer Nifty50 ended 105 points, or 1.35 per cent, higher at 7,949.

    A bad close for sure after opened with positive gains today some recovery seen in the first half of the indian stock market dip again till noon and close lower one from day’s high levels.

    US November jobs data and GST Bill beat the Market expectations,as the Sensex slipped 108 points, or 0.42 per cent, to close the day at 25,530, while 50-stock barometer Nifty50 ended 16 points, or 0.21 per cent, lower at 7,765
