I have came across this indicator VIX which is used to measure or reflect volatility in stock market. I have seen that it is used widely and considered quite reliable.

Can someone provide some information about VIX and how to use it.

Indian stock markets have been quite volatile in previous few months and knowing it may help in trading.

Trading nifty have become extremely difficult as market may swing in any direction or move in multiple directions in same trading session.
For example, it may open in red and soon may gain few points to trade in green and again, will loose all the gains and start trading in red.

So it will be quite useful to understand this indicator in case it is really so useful and provide good information.

Please share your review and tips about VIX.
  2. Nice information.
