Hi Kunal, Residential properties in Chennai are well-spread out. Which area in Chennai is your friend looking to invest in? North, South, Central, or West? The price range of any accommodation depends on a variety of factors like 24 hour water supply, electricity, and drainage facilities, locality, proximity to market, etc. If your desired locality is South Chennai, you can explore properties at Egattur. The rate here is approximately Rs. 5,695 - 7,012/sq. Ft. In the North Chennai, areas like Ambattur cost Rs. 6,978 - 9,072, Perambur costs Rs. 4,250 - 5,185/sq. Ft. On the Central side, you can invest in Kilpauk, which costs Rs. 8,330 - 9,520/sq. Ft. If we go towards west, you can invest in Arcot Road where the cost is Rs. 5,695 - 6,885/sq. Ft. Or you can go for Kolapakkam for Rs. 3,910 - 4,632/sq. Ft. For complete details you will need to search on real estate websites.
