Lock-in period is the amount of time that a tenant & landlord guarantees they will be paying the rent for. Please note, that a lock-in period is different than contract tenure. For instance. If a lock-in period is 3 years, but the contract is for 10 years then after 3 years the tenant and the landlord can break the lease without reason by usually giving a 1-3 month notice. The lock-in period, contract tenure & notice period are all agreed upon during negotiations for the office space for rent period. Find your commercial property today at Jagaha.
